What is I-Share?

Northern Seminary is a member of the Consortium of Research and Academic Libraries in Illinois (CARLI).

To use I-Share, books are searched for and requested using the online library catalog, Primo.  Log into the catalog using the sign-in yellow bar across the screen or the sign-in link on the top right.  If you are already signed into email through the Northern portal, the process will be faster.  Requested materials can be delivered to any I-Share library and can be returned to any I-Share library to be securely routed back to the owning library.

Current students, staff, and faculty from participating I-Share libraries may borrow books from Northern's library through I-Share or using their institutional ID card at the library by appointment only.

Current Northern Seminary local students, staff, and faculty members also have borrowing privileges at the other 80-plus I-Share member academic libraries using their student ID card.  Please check the borrowing policies of the library you visit.
